The STC-IPM3578A IP camera features 1/3" 1.3 megapixel Sony Exmor™ CMOS sensor. SXGA (1280x1024) resolution and perfect color rendering allow to use the STC-IPM3578A in applications where video signal quality is critical. Vandal-proof IP66-rated design and built-in heater allow to install the camera both indoors and outdoors including applications with high risk of vandalism.

Triple-Stream Video Transmission at Up to 30 ips
The STC-IPM3578A can stream video in three formats (H.264, MPEG-4, and Motion JPEG) at 12 Mbit/s. User can both select compression mode and set up each video stream parameters, its resolution and frame rate. The camera can stream video at maximum frame rate of 30 ips at SXGA (1280x1024), as well as at every other supported resolution. Support of three codecs allows to adapt the STC-IPM3578A to network bandwidth, and, for example, provide different rate and quality for live video viewing and recording.

H.264 High Profile Data Transmission
The STC-IPM3578Asupports high-performance H.264 High Profile video codec, which requires less bandwidth for video streaming. Due to H.264 HP, the camera can stream video at high resolution, with high detail and parallel audio. Thus, compared to H.264 Baseline and H.264 Main Line, video generated using H.264 High Profile allows to half network load and ensures high video and audio quality without increasing channel capacity requirements.

3-axis mount and megapixel auto iris lens
The IP camera module has a 3-axis mount, which allows to install the camera on any horizontal or vertical surface without additional brackets. Built-in 3-10 mm varifocal megapixel auto iris lens provides 96° to 29° horizontal angle of view and allows to install the cameras at various distances from the monitored area.

STC-IPM3578A Operation in Complicated and Low Light Environment
The STC-IPM3578A operates at minimum scene illumination of up to 0.1 Lux in color mode and up to 0.01 Lux in B/W mode (software Day/Night). For extremely low light environment, cameras can activate Slow Shutter mode. With WDR (adjustable level), the IP camera ensures brightness balanced video under high contrast lighting, backlight, etc.

IP Camera Connection to External Devices
MicroSD/SDHC memory card slot allows the STC-IPM3578A to use external storage devices. Data recording to memory card can be configured by schedule or event (e.g., in case of disconnection). After reconnection, remote viewing of recorded video is possible. In addition, the IP camera supports two-way audio transmission with external microphone and speaker. Alarm input and output allow to connect sensors and remote devices, with their operation configurable via STC-IPM3578A's Web menu.

Centralized Monitoring & Recording Software
To implement IP video surveillance systems of any scale with Smartec and third-party video cameras and servers, we recommend to use NetStation software. The software offers wide capabilities for multichannel video/audio viewing and recording, allows to use interactive eMaps and provide archive smart search.

All STC-IPM3578A settings are accessible via direct connection to MS Internet Explorer after authorization. The camera is bundled with a special utility for camera network search.
